Our charges are based on the number of tasks. One task costs £40 ($60, €60). Here are a number of the more widely-used extras, and an indication of the number of tasks they involve on typical musician’s web site:

Design extras
Simple custom layout (a text based page): Differentiate yourself from other sites by an economical design that reflects your corporate image.	one task
Graphic layout (custom layout with supporting graphic or sets of simple graphics): This No Fuss professional page design includes the layout, and supporting graphics, but not the graphical navigation or logos.	two tasks
Extra graphic for layout design: A particularly impressive layout may require extra graphical work. This might include a collage of pictures, or custom-created graphics. A complex graphic may count as more than one task.	one task
Designing simple navigation bar containing graphics: Making the links between the sections of your site graphical rather than text can increase the visual impact of your site.	one task
Animating navigation elements: Graphical navigation can be animated (such as changing colour when the mouse moves over something) to enhance visual impact and ease of use.	one task
Extra graphical element for graphical navigation: This is the design of a frame or a button that surrounds the navigation graphic and integrates it into your site in a way that enhances your overall design.	one task
Creating a graphic: We can design original graphics to your requirements. This task covers the creation of a logo graphic to go with your company name, or an icon as part of your navigation, for example. Complex graphics or logos may require additional tasks.	one task
Creating an animated graphic: Movement and animation (including graphics which change when a mouse moves over them) can add dynamism to your site’s appearance. Animations can also distract from the rest of the page, and should be used with care.	one task
Web site promotion
Your web site is only useful if people are able to find it. Our desins take account of the way in which search engines work and aim to bring relevant traffic to your site.
Submitting your site to the major search engines : Google, AltaVisa, Excite!, HotBot, Infoseek, Lycos, Webcrawler, and Yahoo! handle 90% of online searches. We submit your new site to all of them, increasing your chances of being found in online searches. Four months later, we check and resubmit to the missing engines.	one task
Resubmission to search engines, per annum: Three times in the year we will check your presence in the major search engines and resubmit where appropriate. This will help maintain your search engine listings, and ensure your site is submitted to new search engines as the list of major engines changes.	one task per annum
Submitting your site to search engines and directories specific to your needs: Helping related sites to link to you can be an effective way of promoting your web site. We can find the web directories and business sites relevant to your field, and ask them to link to you. If we do not find any that link to you, we do not charge for this task.	one task
Submission to classical music directories: Because of our greater knowledge of the classical music industry, we are able to submit your new website to classical music directories at the same time as to the major search engines.	one task
Hosting, email and domain names
“Hosting” your website is the name for putting it on the world wide web. We can arrange to host your site and to store or forward your email, msing a major internet service provider so that your site is continually available. Your "domain name", or web site name, should be memorable and appropriate. Many good domain names are taken, but we can help you find a suitable name which will usally be from among the more familiar .com, .co.uk, org, .org.uk, .ltd.uk name sor the newer .info, .biz, and .name domains. Alternatively, you we could host your site under a domain name we own — such as www.classicalperformers.com/yourname/.
Domain name (.com, .org, .uk) and hosting, per annum: We will help research and set up appropriate domain names for your site. Most domain names are available for this price — please enquire.	two tasks per annum
Access to a monthly summary of your website’s visitors: We can add the facility to allow you to see monthly information on the level of traffic to ypur web site, breaking them down by day, time, page, and place of origin. For those people who have come to your site via search engines there is also information in what they typed in the search boxes.	one task per annum
Set up or modify up to 10 email addresses: Basic email is included in hosting if you are hosting with No Fuss Websites. Multiple email addresses let you give several email addresses for different people or functions. The emails are either available to you in “POP3” mailboxes which you can access from anywhere in the world, or forwarded to other email addresses.	one task per annum for up to 10 email addresses
Online form for collecting feedback: An enquiry form makes it easy for potential customers to get in touch. It is an alternative to an email link that can be used by people browsing without access to their email account, ensures that people leave the right contact details, and can be redirected to any email address.	one task
Online selling
Online sales — e-commerce — ranges form very sophisticated systems handling substantial sums of money, to simple facilities allowing people to take orders. Sometimes it makes sense to set up facilities to fulfil large numbers of orders, but it can also be appropriate for a perfomer to arrange the sale of their CDs in co-operation with another organisation, such as Amazon.com. We’ll happily talk you through the e-commerce maze. Options include:
Printable order form: Some clients prefer to take orders offline by giving customers an order form to print out. We usually advise a credit card facility to make the buying process as smooth as possible, but this can be the right choice for companies expecting low but loyal sales, or who wish to avoid taking credit cards. Divina Records take most of their sales from a printable order form.	one task
Secure hosting for credit card numbers and other confidential information: If you wish to take credit card numbers online and run them through your own card processing system, you will need a facility to securely upload, download and store credit card numbers.	one task (per annum)
Standard shopping cart system: We can create a site that will make it easy for your customers to buy their products and pay by credit card, by using the proven shopping cart motif. The fee includes customising to fit in with your site design. We can also provide a completely customised system, though this involves an addition to the number of tasks.	ten tasks
Simple online order form (for up to 20 items): Some product ranges can be presented and purchased through an online order form. The order form and credit card numbers are held on a secure server. (We cannot process card numbers for you: you will already need merchant status.) Typically this would form part of a wider e-commerce solution involving additional programming.	one task
