Bandwidth
Bandwidth is a measure of traffic on the internet. Usually, it is used
to describe how much information can be moved through a particular internet connection. For instance,
the average modem cannot download more than 2 or 3 kilobytes per second, but
broadband internet connections are much faster than this.
Domain name
A domain name is the name used to reach your website on the internet. Although you could be called http://www.nofusswebsites.com/example/,
most businesses would like to use their own name, or a word related to
their products and services. No Fuss Websites.com would be happy to arrange this.
Unfortunately, many domain names are already taken, and it may be difficult
to recover the name of your business if someone else already has it, even if they have no obvious
connection to the name.
There are official domain name endings for each country, such as .uk for the UK
and .ie for Ireland. The .com, .net and .org
endings theoretically
belong to the US, although they are used world-wide. No Fuss Websites.com calls
these official domains deluxe domain names. It is also possible to
use unofficial endings such as .uk.com (instead of co.uk) and
these are cheaper. We sell these, as well as names of the form
click.to/example as economy domain names.
Mouseover animation
This is an example mouseover. Place your mouse pointer over the image to see it change.
This works on almost all current browsers on their preset configuration. Some
browsers, however, will be too old, or have had this functionality
turned off for speed.
